Norberto Salazar Jr.

Norberto Salazar Jr who comes from the small-town Dilley, TX, is the oldest of four brothers, a loving husband, and a first-generation college graduate earning his associates in Liberal Arts from Northwest Vista College and his bachelors in Exercise Science from Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Norberto is passionate about one’s self-reflection, leadership, and communication and believes these are key vocal starting points to be successful.

For the past year and half, he has been the alumni (excluding business majors) and special cohorts Career Counselor at University of Houston-Downtown.  He has successfully used his 11 years in student success experience to help guide students throughout their academic/professional career. Whether that is being active in a club or organization, reaching that next level in sports and recreation, building a welcoming and safe environment for students, or helping students get the job interview they so desire by using best career practices. Norberto believes that if you put your best foot forward that good things are to follow in due time.
