Brandi is a seasoned facilitator with a strong foundation in training and development, career coaching, and leadership. She brings a dynamic and engaging approach to professional development, having led workshops on emotional intelligence, succession planning, mentorship, and organizational professionalism for both university employees and student leaders.
As a former career counselor and current adjunct professor, Brandi is skilled in connecting with diverse audiences and creating interactive, impactful learning experiences. She incorporates a variety of technology platforms—including PowerPoint Live, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, polls, and live reactions—to enhance engagement in both virtual and in-person settings. Her facilitation style is grounded in empathy, connection, and real-world application.
Brandi has served the University of Houston-Downtown for three years in both Career Services and Human Resources – Talent Development. In her current role as Senior Talent Development Specialist, she is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth for UHD’s faculty, staff, and students.
She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston–Clear Lake, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and an Associate’s degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Brandi is currently pursuing her Professional in Talent Development (PTD) certification through the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
